I opted for meedio, buying it on Friday night. Now I need to decide on a PVR. I really wish that the Meedio people would get MeedioTV finished so I could have 1 integrated system. This leaves my main options as SageTV and BeyondTV. I'm currently trying both. Both support visual program guides. From my queries on HTPC News it appears that both can integrate with Meedio nicely. So far I've been mainly experimenting with SageTV. I like the interface, and it definitely looks like a solid product. Beyond TV I'm just now playing with and it seem pretty good too. The biggest advantage I've seen with Beyond is the online interface to your programming guide. For example, if I'm at work and realize I'm going to be at my girlfriend's place Wednesday night. Well she doesn't have cable, and the new season of South Park is just starting. I log in to beyond's website and I can add whatever show I want. The BeyondTV update client queries the server I believe once every 15 minutes for updates in programming and new shows to record. Very cool. I haven't tried this feature yet, but will be shortly. I'll update you all later this week!!
